What are the shipping gel packs made of?

How do I dispose of the gel packs that came with my order?

Gel packs can be disposed of in the trash. However, we recommend reusing or donating them since they are great for coolers!

Why are my gel packs defrosted, thawed, or squishy?

The gel packs contain non-toxic gel, and it's normal for them to thaw during transportation and experience some condensation.

Because we do not store your billing information after a transaction is complete, simply place a new order with your updated information.

Yes, you can use a physical business address for delivery. To ensure successful delivery, please be sure that someone onsite will be available to receive the shipment during regular business hours. We are not liable for perishable products that spoil

Currently, we do not offer the option to pre-schedule deliveries or select a specific delivery date. Orders are processed and shipped as soon as possible.

Do I need to be home when my shipment arrives?

You do not need to be home for the delivery. However, we recommend providing a delivery address where someone can receive the package or where it can be securely left.

How can I place one order to ship to more than one gift recipient or address?

How does Golden Steer keep my order cold once shipped?

To ensure that your product remains in excellent condition, products are placed inside an insulated cooler and filled with ice packs based on seasonal weather and distance from our fulfillment partner to the delivery address zip code. It’s a science.

Once thawed, meat products should be used within 1-2 days to ensure freshness and safety. Butters can be enjoyed through the expiration date listed on the package.

Please recycle the packaging materials where possible. The insulated liners and gel packs should be disposed of according to local regulations.
